FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

In response to the event to celebrate Darwin's 205th birthday conducted by the UNB Biology Graduate Student Society, to be held 7pm Wednesday, February 12th at the Grad House in Fredericton,NB, the Intelligent Design Institute of Technology (IDIoTech) is planning a protest to combat the continuing inculcation of today's youth without thought for scientific discourse.

In the spirit of discourse the protest will include recitations of works that challenge Darwin's theories and present alternative explanations for natural diversity.

Members of IDIoTech believe that the promotion of scientific theories through the flippant nature of a birthday party flies in the face of scientific discourse, and debases the pursuit of knowledge and truth. It is through such inculcation, or the repetitive nature of indoctrination that the cult of natural selection infects the minds of today's youth.

Members of IDIoTech further believe that this protest will follow in the tradition of the Flat Earth Society and the legacy of Alden Nowlan, the namesake of the event's location.
